When you upload a photo, it's used only to design your child's personalized storybook character.
Your photo helps our tools capture your child's smile and spirit to inspire a fictional, stylized illustration, never a direct replica.
You always remain the owner of your photo.

Secure, encrypted transmission
Uploaded files are never stored — they are used in the process of the character generation request then discarded
No selling or sharing of photos, ever

The photo serves as a creative reference that guides our tools.
It is not stored and therefore never appears publicly.
✨ Optional Marketing Permission
We sometimes feature completed characters or pages with parent permission.
Checkbox at upload:
"I give Little Chapters permission to feature my child's character or photo in marketing or social media."
Unchecked = full privacy.
⚖️ Your Rights & Consent
By uploading, you confirm:
- I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child, or that I have received permission from the parent or guardian to use this image for the creation of a personalized storybook.
- I grant Little Chapters a limited license to use the photo only for your purchased product.
- I understand the illustrations are fictional and stylized.
